On Tuesday night (4/19), we hosted a Meet and Greet with soon-to-be new graduates from the Arkansas State University's Counseling Program. Our topic was "Setting You Up For Success." We celebrated each student's hard work and gave them an opportunity to ask questions from our panel. Each panel member also provided each graduate an important tip for them to use as they pursue their forever career. We discussed a variety of topics that included company culture, benefits, being ready, burnout, and much more. 

Angel Carter, LMSW is a therapist who graduated from Walden University where she received her Masters in Social Work.  While attending graduate school, Angel served as a qualified behavioral health provider and an intern for Families, Inc. 

We are so glad to welcome Angel back to the family! She will be working out of our Trumann clinic. 

We are happy to welcome our April newly hired therapist to the family!

Emily Pointer, LAC is a therapist who graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Emily received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  

We are glad to have her on board. Emily will be providing teleheath services to our Jonesboro clinic.

Cassie Hale, LAC and Desiree Fowler, LAC are both therapists who graduated from Arkansas State University. Cassie received her Masters in Education in School Counseling. Desiree received her Specialist in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

We are glad to have them on board. Cassie will be working out of our Paragould clinic. Desiree will be working out of our Jonesboro clinic.

Families, Inc. is thrilled to welcome Licensed Professional Counselor, Angel Wallis, to our quality assurance team as Quality Assurance Coordinator. She brings more than 15 years experience in that field while working for community mental health.

Angel received her Master of Rehabilitation Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (graduating Cum Laude) from Arkansas State University.

We are happy to welcome our January newly hired therapists to the family!

Brittany first joined Families, Inc. in April of 2011.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2001 and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2004.  She received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2011.

Lockie Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that joined Families, Inc. in January of 2022 as the Mountain Home Clinical Supervisor. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Arkansas State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Tina Samuels, LMSW is a therapist who graduated from Arkansas State University where she received her Masters in Social Work. Kassidy Youngblood, LAC is a therapist who graduated from John Brown University where she received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
