The Osceola Outpatient Clinic opened in the summer of 2001. The clinical staff are supervised by Scott Burcham, LCSW.
Services provided include qualified behavioral health provider intervention, psychological testing (provided at the Jonesboro office), psychiatric evaluation and medication management, screening and assessment, play therapy, school-based services and education and training for qualified behavioral health provider. Such services are provided for individuals and groups as well as marital and family counseling for children, adolescents and adults.
Medical Director John Burnett, MD, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Leslee Lowe, APRN serve the Osceola clinic onsite.
The Osceola clinic, Osceola Schools, and Gosnell Schools are recognized approved sites through the National Health Services Corps. (NHSC). This means two very important things. First, clients who are seeking services but do not have the ability to pay for services can apply for our Sliding Fee Scale to access services. Sliding Fee Scale Applications are available at each approved site. Discounted/Sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income pending application approval. No one will be denied access to services based on inability to pay. Second, professionals who are able to practice independently (APRN, LCSW, LPC and MD) can apply through the NHSC website to have their student loans repaid in exchange for working at our Osceola clinic, Osceola Schools or Gosnell Schools.
