It is our pleasure at Families, Inc. to be able to make available quality continuing educational opportunities to not only Families, Inc. staff, but also the mental health community at large.  All paid attendees will receive the appropriate certificate for their credential.  If you have a topic that you are interested in, make suggestions at ceus@familiesinc.net.


Accreditation

Families, Inc. is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements.  The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.

Families, Inc. is recognized as an approved provider of continuing education in play therapy.  Courses presented by Families, Inc. advertised as play therapy courses have been deemed by the Quality Assurance Department to meet all APT Continuing Education requirements contained within the Approved Provider Guide.  Note: not all presentations at Families, Inc. qualify as play therapy education by the APT.  Those which do are identified as "Play Therapy" in the title and description, and will have a note that they meet the APT Accreditation Requirements.  APT Approved Provider 13-341


Location

Unless otherwise noted, continuing education presentations are presented in the training room at the Jonesboro clinic of Families, Inc. Counseling Services located at 1815 Pleasant Grove Rd. in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Unless otherwise noted presentations are also available through a live webinar.

Registration

To register for Continuing Education events at Families, Inc. utilize the Registration link from the main CEU page (note that each training has a separate registration link).  Alternatively, you can e-mail ceus@familiesinc.net to register or call Families, Inc. at 870.933.6886 and ask to speak to the Training Coordinator.  Attendance by individuals who did not register in advance may be limited based upon seating.  When registering be sure to give your name, e-mail address, which sessions you plan to attend, and whether you plan to attend the training in person or via webinar.

Payment

All participants can pay via credit card or bank account securely through Paypal in advance.  Participants attending in person can also choose to pay via check, credit card, or cash upon arrival.

Cancellation

If for some reason you are unable to attend after registering, we appreciate notification by e-mail or phone as soon as you know you will be unable to come.  All cancellations made before the training will receive a full refund.  Those who do not cancel in advance can apply their payment to a later training.

Refund

If for some reason you feel one of our trainings does not fulfill it’s advertised purpose, you may speak to the Families, Inc. Quality Assurance Department to request a refund.
