Mark Thurman joined Families, Inc. in December, 2001 having first served as a qualified behavioral health provider, then Therapist and Clinical Supervisor in the Searcy outpatient clinic prior to his promotion as Chief Operations Officer in 2005. In 2010, he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Mark received his nurses training through Cox Health Systems in Springfield, MO and later worked at the Murray-Calloway County Community Hospital in Murray, KY prior to joining Families, Inc.
As CEO, he is committed to the team approach and enjoys finding and emphasizing staff talent as Families, Inc. strives to deliver high quality care in a positive work environment.
On a personal level, Mark and his wife Deanna have two children - daughter, Lakon, and son, Hayes.
