For the second year, Families, Inc. Counseling Services will be the title sponsor of the 5th Annual Downtown J-Town 5K Run/Walk benefiting City Youth Ministries of Jonesboro.
This well-respected United Way organization provides a safe place for Jonesboro's at risk youth to gather as they grow and learn. Encouraging activities at City Youth include: tutoring and homework opportunities, life-skills sessions, and guidance regarding the development of positive, lasting relationships. City Youth provides meals, indoor recreational sports, daily bible study and devotion, as well as other events designed to equip youth to succeed in every aspect of life.
With the Families, Inc. mission of “…helping each member of the family unit to meet their fullest potential” we feel it is a natural fit for our company to assist in the funding efforts of City Youth.
