Families, Inc. Counseling Services is a private counseling agency accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) with outpatient facilities throughout Northeast and North Central Arkansas. We offer a variety of therapeutic services to aid individuals and families through their most difficult and challenging times. Since our beginning in late 1999 we have taken the unique approach of providing services in the client's home or school, unless the outpatient clinic is more appropriate.

Individual, couple, and family therapy is available for children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Through therapeutic services, the individual will receive emotional support, work to resolve conflicts with people, understand feelings and problems, and try out new solutions to old problems. Goals for therapy may be specific (change in behavior, improved relations with friends or family), or more general (less anxiety, better self-esteem). In some cases, in conjunction with therapy, Families, Inc. provides intensive mental health paraprofessional intervention to enable him or her to remain in their home, school and community while receiving services. The length of therapeutic services depends on the complexity and severity of problems. No referral for service is required.

Physicians, social service organizations, and school personnel may also make a referral by calling, or faxing the referral to 870.933.9395.
