Shawn Dennis is a Licensed Certified Social Worker / Psycho-Therapist who joined Families, Inc. as Clinical Supervisor of the Ash Flat Clinic in September 2009. Additionally, he served as Clinical Supervisor of the Mountain Home clinic from 2011-2022. Shawn received his Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Shawn holds one certification credential from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Shawn has extensive clinical experience in private practice, clinical supervision / management, consulting, mediation, teaching, and child welfare practice / therapeutic services.
Shawn has served on boards and committees for a number of organizations that involve helping children. In addition, he has served as an adjunct faculty member at Missouri State University in the psychology and social work departments.
Outside of clinical practice and management, Shawn enjoys hunting, farming, and spending time with family. Shawn and his wife have three children, three grandchildren, and make their home in Thayer, Missouri.
