Laura Needham-Puckett joined Families, Inc. in July of 2009, having first served as a Therapist. She has had a wide range of therapeutic experience, having worked in the mental health field since 2000 that includes as a Child Adolescent Outpatient Therapist, a Therapeutic Foster Care Therapist, and a School-based Elementary Therapist.
Laura received her license as a Psychological Examiner after completing psychological assessment courses at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri. She received her Specialist in Education with her major in Psychology and Counseling, from Arkansas State University, as well as her Bachelor's in Psychology. In addition, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She also completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy under the ARBest Project in conjunction with the Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center.
Laura is married to Bob Puckett and they have two daughters. They are members of First Baptist Church.
