David Shade joined Families, Inc. in March 2009. He received his Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.

David began his practice as Psychological Examiner in Wynne, AR in 1984 and has had a private practice, worked with East Arkansas Regional Mental Health Center, and served as Clinical Director for Kids for the Future and Kid Success, Inc. Prior to joining Families, Inc. he worked with Child & Youth Development Center for four years. He was appointed two times to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Psychology in 1995 & 2000, serving as Chair in 2000.

David enjoys spending time playing guitar, computer programming, fishing, and as a community and church volunteer.
