Sharon Travis is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who has 30 years experience in the social services field.  Sharon graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from Arkansas State University and a M.S.W. in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  She began her career with the Jonesboro Human Development Center as Director of Social Services, and prior to joining Families, Inc. in 2005, she worked at MidSouth Health Systems for 18 years and served as their Children's Services Director.

Sharon has been married to Bill Travis for 28 years and has one son, Will, age 25.
