Families, Inc....Offers Youth Mental Health First Aid!

Families, Inc. is piloting the first Youth Mental Health First Aid program in NEA. Our agency will train over 200 school faculty and personnel and over 100 members of the public to improve mental health literacy – helping them identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness.

Families Inc and the American Cancer Society are teaming up. This year, we have raised over $2000 in helping to create more birthdays, with many more opportunities to raise more money. Families, Inc. Counseling Services is a private counseling agency accredited by the Joint Commission for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) with outpatient facilities throughout Northeast and North Central Arkansas. Our staff endeavors to provide the therapeutic services needed to aid individuals and families through their most difficult and challenging times.

To achieve this end, Families, Inc. Counseling Services will:

Develop positive relationships with other individuals and agencies in our community that are meeting human need.
Advocate for safer, healthier families through participation in community, state and national coalitions, councils and organizations addressing those needs.
Focus on strengths not weaknesses; identify needs not label problems.
Begin and end each day with thoughtful preparation and a plan for tomorrow.
