CLINICAL SUPERVISOR - Searcy, Jonesboro
Description:
The Mental Health Professional (Clinical Supervisor) will be responsible for providing functions related to the delivery of mental health care to assigened clients, to include intake assessment, individual/family therapy, group services, and crisis interventions both on-site and off-site. Supervises clinical staff and contractors.
Requirements:
The Clinical Supervisor shall possess a masters degree from an accredited University or College in social work, psychology, sociology, or counseling and licensed as a a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas or a Registered Nurse with one year psychiatric experience. Experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
Details:
  1. Provides direct supervision to clinical staff.
  2. Conducts regularly scheduled clinic staff meetings.
  3. Attends monthly Clinical Supervisor meeting to report on the progress and needs of the clinic.
  4. Assesses staffing needs and conducts interviews to select qualified staff.
  5. Provides continuous feedback to clinicians regarding expectations and performance.
  6. Addressess disciplinary and performance issues as needed.
  7. Encourages communication between all staff members.
  8. Provides both on-site and off-site direct mental health services (intake assessment, individual/family therapy, group, crisis interventions) to assigned clients.
  9. Completes master treatment plans and updates as needed.
  10. Furnishes required reports to DCFS, legal system and other involved agencies.
  11. Testifies in court as required.
  12. Other duties as assigned.                                     
Additional
-Travel between clinics is required.
-Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and community leaders.
