Families, Inc. takes the role of student education very seriously and we work closely with students, staff, and academic administration to ensure we provide the best possible education experience during your internship or practicum.

If you wish to apply for an intern/practicum position please download the Intern Checklist from the Careers tab at the top of the page, and then send to Diane Medley via fax or mail. Upon receipt of a complete application packet, each student must interview with Ms. Medley for screening and program orientation purposes. Once a student passes the screening process in our internship program, the student must interview with a Families, Inc. field supervisor before placement can be determined.
        

We provide qualifying students with experiences in both direct and indirect delivery of outpatient mental health services. Most intern experiences include working within our school-based program but all experiences will include contact with clients and their families in their home environment.
