The Mental Health Paraprofessional provides off-site mental health services as well as community resource identification with their assigned clients.  The Mental Health Paraprofessional is not responsible for supervision of other staff.

The Mental Health Paraprofessional shall meet the definition of a Mental Health Paraprofessional as defined in the standards for Arkansas Medicaid Providers which requires 40 hours of Para-Professional Training.  We provide an excellent 40-hour Para-Professional Training Program during your first week of work.

1.    Provides services to clients on an off-site basis as prescribed in the treatment
       plan.
2.    Serves as a member of the client’s treatment team.
3.    Coordinates with client’s family, teachers and other community agencies to
       address behavioral issues that occur in the home, school, and community.
4.    Assist with securing wrap-around community services.
5.    Furnishes required reports to DCFS, legal system and other involved agencies.
6.    Attends regularly scheduled clinic staff meetings.
7.    Provides complete and timely documentation to support services rendered.
8.    Testifies in court as required.
